You probably remember Cumbersome, and maybe Water’s Edge or My My from the band’s debut album American Standard. But the bulk of Seven Mary Three’s great work has been after that brief time in the spotlight and in the four albums that followed. The band, made up of lead vocalist and guitar player Jason Ross, Thomas Juliano on lead guitar and backup vocals, Casey Daniel on bass guitar and Mike Levesque recently replacing Giti Khalsa on drums, continues to tour and play to small but appreciative crowds. They have a group of devoted fans who travel far and near to see them play and to sing along. Jason Ross once said in concert “I'm the guy who writes the songs that makes you wanna cry.” Powerful and sometimes brooding, their music is emotionally charged. They sing about the love you lost, the love you found and the struggles that life presents. The music makes you think, and makes you feel. They emit an energy. See them live once and you’ll be hooked.
